Wonder if there'll be a sequel to The Marvels, a Captain Marvel threequel?

Critical and public reactions to The Marvels may be polarizing at best right now, but I think it deserves more credit than it's being given. Besides: Carol Danvers probably deserves another film of her own, especially since they're considering doing another season of Ms. Marvel.

I would like a Captain Marvel 3 as well, especially since I think this was Brie Larson's best performance as Carol Danvers in the MCU. We saw a little bit of this character in Endgame as well but this film made me feel like I understood her as Carol as much as I understood her as Vers in the first film. I think I would like to see her face someone on Earth though as she has made peace with her reasons for not returning and we have seen her fight the Kree twice now (The Kree empire is to Captain Marvel what HYDRA is to Captain America). I would like Carol to fight Rogue in the third film

I could see there being a threequel

Though it really depends on how much The Marvels makes for there to be a sequel

Hopefully there will be. The Marvels was good and there’s definitely potential.
