The book does say "energy streams from the Infinity Gauntlet, SUPERCHARGING Thanos just before he performs the Snap" and "as Thanos SURGES WITH POWER from his completed Infinity Gauntlet, Thor strikes him in the chest with Stormbreaker." Similarly, does the book confirm that Thanos beat Hulk with the Power Stone?
Since Thanos clearly did not activate the Power Stone against Hulk, it can be argued that the Power Stone amped Thanos' body just like with Ronan previously who was not hurt by anything with the Power Stone, just like the Space Stone did for Captain Marvel, just like the Mind Stone did for Wanda, and just like the Reality Stone did for Malekith.
