Is kang sort of the good guy in quantumania like thanos?

I’m watching quantumania right now and a thought popped into my head, is kang sort of the good guy like thanos is in infinity war. Like thanos wasn’t really evil, he wanted to save the universe from extinction by halving all of life and in doing so double the resources for the lives that were spared. In the same way, kang wanted to stop the council of kangs from messing up the multiverse. He’s sort of like he who remains in that way but instead he who remains wanted to eradicate all kangs no matter who they were. I’m also a bit drunk rn so I can understand a bit clearly why characters like this would want to do something like this in not so good films. Tbf kang should’ve been introduced in a different film rather than an ant man film.

No and neither was Thanos for your information, Thanos did horrible unmentionable things to his own adopted Daugther Nebula and could have use the stones in a different way like IDK Double the resources around the universe instead of killing half of all life.

there seems to be at least the following differences between Thanos and Kang::

Thanos appeared in multiple movies; Kang in just one.
Thanos seeming to have more characters that knew him than Kang.

am not sure whether Kang was lying or telling the truth.

not entirely sure, but He Who Remains might have been more truthful/honest than Kang.

I don’t think Kang was the good guy like Thanos was in Infinity War

For the most part Kang was as basically the villain because he wanted out of the Quantum Realm. He just tricked Scott to do his bidding for him and he said he could give Scott back time he lost with Cassie but let’s be honest that was never going to happen
