Discussion for Loki S2 E3 titled: 1893
Victor Timely being from the 19th century but HWR originally living in the 31st century is really confusing for me
I kind of have the feeling that Miss Minutes played at least Renna Renslayer and Victor Timely.
it possibly being her idea for the tempad trips and for the book to go through the window.
it seeming to be her idea to get Renna Renslayer off the ship.
she seeming to want a real body.
also have the feeling that Miss Minutes might become similar to AIDA from Agents of SHIELD season 4.
Miss Minutes seeming to already have her own ideas; AIDA seemed to also have her own ideas.
with a real body, Miss Minutes would also be an android. and may eventually express a desire to become human some time after that.
Well it seems those worthless theories saying Miss Minutes was actually a variant of Kang were flat out wrong.
Miss Minutes came right out and admitted she was a created AI entity.
But the teased secret Minutes had about Ravona is intriguing. We will see.
Anyone else think that Sophie will regret letting Victor live? Almost guaranteed, I bet.

And speaking of creepy, Miss Minutes got especially creepy right before Victor Timely switched her off.
I’m starting to wonder if Victor Timely dies a hero when this is over
It was a fantastic episode! Definitely the best one of the season 2 and one of the best individual projects (treating each episode and movie as a separate one in this specific case, and only this case) of Phase 5.
Miss Minutes was perfect, Tara Strong is just amazing.
Victor Timely was definitely different from Kang, but it was very welcome.
I think they might reveal Victor Timely is an ancestor of the original Kang from the 31st century and is not a Variant. And by Miss Minutes and Ravonna giving Timely the guidebook, He Who Remains would have a failsafe in the event of his death - someone to stabilize the Loom. But I doubt he took into account Miss Minutes might go MIA and not want to help.
Sylvie is still in total denial that she's living on borrowed time in her alternate 80s Broxton. I guess eventually she will make amends with Loki Variant. She can't live the rest of her life stabbing Kang variants. But wow, if she did succeed in killing Timely who might only be an ancestor...
Yeah, Miss Minutes being bonkers was... unexpected. And that makes Minutes a dangerous variable in all this like AIDA on AOS. Ultron getting a body didn't turn out well either.
Mobius commandeering the bicycle, Loki refusing to get on, and the subtle pay-off of them catching up to Timely and co. on the bicycle. lmao.
A delicious detail I picked up on. When Ravona dropped off the book to Victor as a little boy, she was on the sacred timeline. By the time everyone caught up to him as an adult he was already in a branch.
Not sure why everyone is sweating the fact this guy is coming from the nineteenth century instead of the 31st. There is no hard rule that says the new replacement has to come from the 31st century. Victor is obviously not Kang, he’s a variant.
Any story from the comics don’t necessarily apply in the MCU. The MCU doesn’t always follow the comics. The original (now dead) He Who Remains thought this all out as part of his contingency, and planned for this exact thing to happen..
Just as you think it can't get any better it gets better...
Confused about what the multiverse even is at this point. In the last episode all the other branches were destroyed but now they all came back. Also is the goal of the TVA to get rid of the other branches or just to contain them.
Anubis, Osiris and Horus from that Branched Timeline
What do you think?
