Because 1 hour and 45 minutes isn’t enough to do the story Justice. It needs to be like 2 hours 5 minutes maximum. The first movie was 2 hours and 20 minutes.

I don’t think it does
I mean not every movies needs to be super long
Because depending on the story it doesn’t need to be dragged out.
If The Marvels can tell a story in that amount of time then sure the length is good
Long runtimes make the movie great
I'm with @Superbattleshipyamato on this one. Let's not judge before we see.
No. As long as the Story is good then the film doesn't need to be 2 hours long. Everyone is already introduce and we don't need to dive into anyone backstory except for maybe Monica's and Carol relationship post Maria's R Death.
Maria Rambeau died during the blimp.
Monica was a blimp victim.
Endgame seemed to imply that Carol Danvers was in space up to then.
We know that at very least Monica's Doesn't like Carol due to her lines in WandaVision. If Carol did Left Maria R to suffer by herself to the Cancer then that would add a lot of drama to Carol's and Monica Relationship which this film can dive into.
However, I don't believe that Carol stays up in space through all of the Five Years post Blip due to her relationship with the rest of the Blip Avengers. Carol probably did come down for Maria's R Last days on earth and her funeral because keep in mind that Carol also just lost Fury's someone who was a father figure to her and Monica who was a daughter to her to the Blip.
I think The Marvels should be longer in runtime
from doing an internet search, slight contradiction on this movie's runtime at different sites.
at various sites either 1 hour 45 minutes or 105 minutes; and some of those sites also having a second page telling some other runtime.
at other sites, some different runtime.
This runtime might be enough, we do not know as the movie isn't out yet
Yes should have been longer.
What do you think?
