What do you think the world of Spiderman would be more like without Marvel?

I always have that same kind of doubt, if Sony had never let Disney use Spider-Man in Marvel, how would the world of Spider-Man be.

Like Tobey Maguire's Earth-96283 or Andrew Garfield's Earth-120703 where we only see mostly different types of superhumans appearing only in New York. Along with typical Spider-Man companies like Oscorp, the Daily Bugle, Quest Aerospace, etc.

And even today with Spider-Man being part of the Marvel universe, there are many theories about the world of Earth-96283 (Tobey Maguire) and Earth-120703 (Andrew Garfield) as to why the Avengers don't exist, or why Stark, Ironman, Hulk, Captain America, none of this is mentioned.

Some claim that on these worlds everything simply did not develop in the same way, which resulted in Stark, the Avengers and others never appearing.

In the case of Stark maybe he died or maybe nothing ever happened to cause him to become Ironman.

And with the Avengers a similar thing.

Now, others have even theorized that maybe in these worlds the Marvel characters never really existed, so it's all different.

In any case, I want to know what you think and how you think the world of Spiderman would develop without Marvel, either by eliminating the characters or making them become of no real importance even though they exist in the world.

I mean here is what I think would happen if Marvel/Disney got the rights to Spider-Man the Sony Universe would be in a different place then where it is now

And seeing the success of the Spider-Verse movies I could see Sony trying to apply that to the live action universe and maybe find a way to have both animated and live action connect as one

While Sony's Universe wouldn't reach the same amount off success like the MCU, it would make money and probably be a good franchise

Dr Strange exist in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man because he was name dropped in the second movie. That's all I can tell you for sure. They probably all do exist as normal people or someone else with a different name has taken up their alter ego. Either way it's clearly not important enough for Marvel to explore so we may never know.

The Avengers probably do exist as see by Dr Strange existing in the RamiVerse just not as know as or they mostly work in LA/San Francisco instead of New York.

In that case I can easily see Tom Holland’s Spider Man being more similar to Tobey’s and Andrew’s films. He’ll probably face off against the same villains though with a different backstory.

I don't see why those heroes wouldn't exist in their respective universes.

I mean, Stark Industries exists in the Daredevil Movie Universe (Earth-701306), Franklin Richards exists in the X-Men Movie Universe (Earth-10005), Moon Knight exists in the Blade Movie Universe (Earth-26320), Blade exists in the Ghost Rider Movie Universe (Earth-121347), and so on. We know Doctor Strange exists in the Spider-Man Movie Universe (Earth-96283). Just because the Avengers aren't known by Peter doesn't mean the heroes don't exist in my opinion.

@ProBot1227 Your aforementioned examples only state that one or two MCU characters/organizations exist in an alternate universe. It doesn’t prove they all do.

And besides, Earths like the Venom one probably don’t have all the Avengers either, if any.

My point is that you assume that just because something isn't brought up, that means that it doesn't exist. It's unfair to speculate when the truth is that it isn't that simple. Even with Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters (Earth-688B), you can't say for certain.

I'm not making a claim that they do or don't exist, I'm stating that you shouldn't make such a definite claim just because they were never shown. I could actually go deeper and state how a bunch of alternate versions of these film realities prove that more heroes exist.

Darkhold: Blade #1 is a divergent timeline (Earth-42222) to the Blade Movie Universe (Earth-26320). In Blade: The Series, we see that comic books based on the Avengers existed in 1977. In Blade: Trinity, we see a t-shirt with the Fantastic Four logo. In Darkhold: Blade #1, we see a team called the Last Avengers consisting of Kurt Wagner, Hobie Brown and Silver Sable. The comic diverges from the Blade film with La Magra winning and turning the human population into vampires. There's a vampire Kingpin who is just like Pearl from Blade. All the superhumans were turned into regular humans or vampires randomly by the "V-Wave" unleashed by La Magra. Moon Knight also exists in the Blade Movie Universe due to a reference in Blade: The Series.

Do you think any of that was known back in 1998 when Blade released? They're not "MCU characters/organisations", by the way. They're Marvel characters and organisations from the comics. The MCU is a distinguished entity. (I'm sorry, I know I'm being pedantic, but... still. 😛)
