@Xandermcc I do agree with you that criticism nowadays has no substance. Everything is perfect or is trash. There is no in between. Criticism has fallen into this pit of nonsense and satirical comments that just tries to punish products rather than having critical thinking.

For example, I think SI is bad but I see there is this attempt to correct the course of old MCU D+ shows: a personalized intro (putting AI use aside), a format more like a TV show rather than a movie (long @ss credits are not a thing), the MS intro is now short because it was getting tiresome, and the attempt to break the episodes like TV episodes rather than a movie that is paused, then it is paused again, etc, etc.

So it is like they know (at leat in a superficial level what they are doing wrong) but they are correcting this stuff when they are in a post production stage. If they got the project right from the get go, they wouldn't be having these problems.

I also know there are stupid and not good criticism like "M-She-U", or other non sense. But the problem with those critics, is that the MCU defenders will claim all critics are like those, and that is not true. There are actual good criticism out there, they just need to be found.

I want most D+ shows to have a second season because once the shows have found their identity and learn from feedback, they can have second seasons that are actually better and can make the show improve. I think MK, Hawkeye, MM and She-Hulk are mediocre/bad shows, but I do think when MS finally learns how to make TV (and hire good experienced writers) they can actually do something good with those properties. I just want the MCU to be on track again.

The thing is, Marvel almost has always had multiple producers separately see projects from start to finish. Remember Jeph Loeb?

I’ll warn you that I might be playing with words here.

The MCU is not “thriving like it used to”. But I still think it is thriving.

To use an arbitrary percentage, it’s like Phase 3 was 90% (my view of the public view) and Phase 4 was 70% (my view of the public view).

70% is still pretty good.

And I did like all the shows. I’ll gladly rewatch them (yes, even Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which I got tired from after watching it 5 times in one year, don’t ask).

And I never lumped the “anti-woke mob” with people like you.

And yes, it’s probably true Marvel doesn’t plan stuff. But if the illusion works, and I think it’s working, it’s probably fine.

And Marvel probably is learning how to make TV, but I still liked their earlier shows nonetheless (Secret Invasion’s finale could’ve been longer so we could see Gi’ah and Gravik use more powers, but it was still a good episode).

And I have already solved almost every plothole in both shows. I don’t know why you think those solutions don’t work.

Really the whole critique equaling satire is also a light defense that has tainted it's credibility massively. Which is going to be a problem for more than just the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It just is very evident for them specifically.

Yeah, it was a fixture with the intros to adjust matters briefly in Secret Invasion in terms of time. (even if being the only intro that I skipped cause c'mon. Even if it wasn't A.I, it's ugly and generic)

And in terms of the overall format of length and content, it is hopefully improving as matters go on. They confirmed more specials and different styles and lengths for Wonder Man, Daredevil, etc.

Oh yeah, it isn't all of them and the defense is going to a lot of last minute plots of shorter shows, films that therefore have to connect to them not as well. Stuff that legitimately could improve and the defense to the MCU isn't helping per say.

Personally liked Hawkeye, She-Hulk, and Moon Knight. (mainly for the former as the last two was more for the character's great introduction) However yeah, second seasons for each would be great to elaborate on matters of their personal arcs. Especially for the example noted of Ms. Marvel who in both comics and here is more in her own world of stories and just making her be introduced in six stories to be Carol's sidekick is slightly unfair.

Quantamania is actually in my top 10 MCU projects honestly…😅

Secret Invasion finale is terrible.

Your solutions are not at all good. There are not solution to the plotholes in SI. Gravik orders Raava to order Varra to kill Fury. When Varra doesn't kill Fury, Gravik gets mad and sends people to kill Varra. Now it turns out Gravik doesn't want Fury dead because he has the location to the harvest... Then why did you order a hit on him in the first place? Also, G'iah reads Rosa Dalton's memories to operate the Super Skrull machine, when it was Skrull Rosa Dalton who built the machine and knows how to operate it (she just used Rosa's scientific knowledge to merge DNA, not how to operate the machine). In episode 3, we have this unexaplined thread between Zacharias and Skrull Robert. Apparently this Skrull Robert actually cares about the son of the person he is replacing? Then why are you trying to start a nuclear holocaust that will literally have him killed. The show is a mess, and you know why? Because it went under three different Head Writer's visions during production, so it became a terrible mix of different ideas and structure. That is why episode 1-2, 3-5 and 6 on its own feel like three different shows all along.

The fact that you can't see the difference between the Marvel TV era being under a separate leadership, and the current Marvel studios era operating under a new leadership with several producers handling several projects because Feige is too busy to do it on his own is proof that you don't understand what you are talking about.
