Sam. No shade being thrown at Carol, but she hasn't been on Earth that long after her return. Sam has a better feeling about leading people in the 21st century.

Always thought Captain Marvel would make sense to be the next leader

And it would make sense for Sam to be leader as well since he is the next Captain America

If Chadwick were still alive I would be it would have been Captain Marvel and T'Challa as the leaders

Captain Marvel hasn't shown a lot of leadership capacities. I believe she could be competent, but we haven't seen much of her performance to handle a team, so I wouldn't pick her.

I think carol would make a good leader! She shows a lot of girl power and I would like a woman to lead the avengers. Then again It would be great to have a person of color to lead the avengers also.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Sam Wilson. I think that he is going to make an amazing Captain America even without the Super Soldier Serum. However, Carol definitely has more leadership skills and it’s about time a woman was the leader of the Avengers.
