So the client in JJ S2E1 wasn't lying

I just started watching JJ S2 and in Ep1, a female client asks Jess to investigate 'Lizard people who have infiltrated the government'. I know this was just a meta joke poking fun at conspiracy theorists but considering the MCU and that Secret Invasion is up next, maybe the client wasn't actually just a paranoid theorist but actually had some proof of the Skrull Invasion ?

What do you guys think ? Maybe if Jess actually took her seriously, she would have gotten to know about the invasion and possibly warn the Defenders and others like SHIELD, Avengers etc.

I doubt that line was setting up the Secret War TV series specifically. Rather, I think the line was a reference to both the lizard people conspiracy and an Easter egg for fans who knew about the Skrull invasion from the comics. Just my opinion, of course; would love to hear from someone in production.
