It needs to be more than 2 hours long, have Gorr more developed, and most importantly, not Overdo the Comedy Tone. This flim needs a great balance of both comedy and serious Luke Ragnarok.

Yeah I agree with you @D-ManTheMovieTVGuy about balancing, because James Gunn does it so much better with his films in both marvel and DC, that he makes you invested in a raccoon, and make you sad for 2 fakeout deaths for a tree that has vocab that doesn’t even reach the double digits.
Also, it was already showing in a little bit in Ragnarok, in that as much as I liked Korg, he was responsible for one of the most ill-timed jokes in that film, but still that film took Hulk more seriously than Infinity War and Endgame.
Being a diehard gorr fan from the comics and as someone who considers Christian Bale to be one of the most talented actors, this was such a disappointment. I mean they got the perfect character and the perfect guy to play that and they screwed up. My problems with thor 4 are all related to gorr and they'll fix the movie to a large extent. Let's go over them-
1. This is the obvious one, there should've been more gorr. More Christian Bale never hurts.
2. The necrosword should never have been the thing that makes gorr kill. The whole point of him is that he was a normal, loyal follower. It's the gods who created their worst nightmare by being selfish. Gorr is not bad, he is just what someone would have done under those exact circumstances.
3. Gorr shouldn't be a new thing. He should've been hunting and killing in the background for Millenium. That makes him that much more menacing and dangerous. Sure thor can fight thanos and hela but gorr's entire thing is killing beings who are as powerful as thor, thor should have a trail of dead bodies to follow before he finds out that this has been going on for a while. which dovetails into my next issue.
4. Gorr should win every battle easily before the finale. It's so stupid how easily thor and janeare able to fight gorr when they first encounter him on new asgard , then why do they need the God's help and why is zeus afraid of him. He should be more powerful. And my final point.
5. Gorr never challenges thor on an ideological level. Think about it, one is a God, other is disappointed follower of the gods. This should challenge thor to be a better God and make him think about his own existence.
Yeah definitely tone down the comedic aspect considerably. Imo it was WAY overdone in this movie to the point that I couldn’t even take half of the movie seriously.
Ironically getting rid of Jane would lower the darkness and stakes of this. Just because, what, people actually considered turning Mighty Thor into a supporting arc as stealing Thor's thunder? (pun intended)
No, Jane deserves her own story arc. It takes away from her story.
It hardly did. Especially since her becoming Thor was a Thor story. Like, she was brought on to return to this franchise. Especially when it was connected to Gorr really in the comics. I do agree that for afterwards, a spin-off story not connected to Thor where she becomes Valkyrie should be a thing. Since Thor still thinks she's dead and that wouldn't work for her to just instantly return to him given his current developments.
Not really sure
I mean I guess make Gorr a better villain
I guess do what ever made Ragnarok great and applied it to that movie
What Optimusprimebumblebee said. More of the other gods would be amazing.
And Thor and Jane struggled in New Asgard, VK12345. If they won easily, why were the children kidnapped?
I love Thor Ragnarok actually, but I miss the time when Thor was directed by Shakespearen directors. They give a more in depth and serious tone for the story, they also manage to balance the humorous tone too
What do you think?
