By making movies like No Way Home or Wakanda Forever, where there’s a balance between moral conflict, dark moments, and humor, actual stakes and consequences, and well done arcs that aren’t just “stop being a Dick”

I don't think it is a matter of redeeming. They just need to focus more on each project, it is obvious Feige is "spread too thin" across them. He said MK was one of the most violent entries in the MCU by Marvel Studios and that was a freaking lie. He doesn't even know fully what he is promoting. You can tell. I am sure if he sat down and watched She-Hulk, LaT and Quantumania closely, he would have not let them see the light of day.

Maybe “redeem” is not the right word here. I don’t think Feige and company didn’t anything that requires actual redemption. Not everything was prefect before Phase 4.

However, less is more. I understand a lot of heroes and teams in comics had their own self-titled comics, but when it comes to film and TV, I don’t think every hero or villain needs their own film, trilogy, or even series. Back when Marvel Studios was just doing film, I was okay with Avengers like Black Widow, Hawkeye, Vision, and Wanda not having their own films. We still learn about them from the films they were in.

I think the idea of introducing new characters via series is a great idea, but not if it does cause them to run thin on resources and creativity. If more time is needed, then give yourself more time. They make their own deadlines, so in some way they are competing against theirselves.

It truly felt like Marvel Studios took on way too much way too fast and it shows with the way a lot of Disney plus shows turned out. This is one of the main reasons I’m glad they’re slowing things down a bit for phase 5. Take your time and focus on the quality of the shows and movies, not the quantity of content you can hurry up and release to the public.

@MarvelSharky adding to your point, they should stick with the original idea of the shows not being necessary material to understand the movies. Not everyone is deeply invested in the MCU to watch every single show, cartoon or otherwise that they release. So it's best if the shows are done in such a way that you don't need to watch them to follow the movies.

For instance, I doubt FATWS is necessary to see how Sam becomes Captain America. We saw Steve hand over the shield at the end of Endgame so it's already implied, no matter how it took place, that Sam will take up the mantle. New World Order shouldn't tie into the show at all IMO. That was also an issue with WandaVision and MoM. Some people didn't watch the show so they were confused as to how, why and when Wanda's descent into villainy happened.

To wrap it up, Marvel and Disney should treat the shows like extra material that's not as important. We already know a bunch of stuff happens in-between movies, like Bruce controlling his Hulk persona or the Avengers raiding other Hydra bases for Loki's scepter (although I'd say the former is important enough to have either appeared in a movie or gotten its own show) so treat the shows as such.
