With the release of No Way Home, why does Sony not call the Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Tom Holland, the animated movie series, and even their spin-off villain franchise with Venom, Spider-Verse?
By the way you called it @MarvelSharky

I don't think it's really rebooting it to bring back old versions and adaptations. Even in DC's recent reboot of bringing back Keaton, that one is more a distraction while something like Spider-Man wasn't needed to have the other two, but it did help reinforce Peter Parker's current arc.
See, I bet the reason the multiverse Saga is messy is because they were planing to explore more of the cosmic side with James Gunn
I don’t think this saga is messy.
If you are asking why aren't they crossing over is because the MCU is it's own universe
Same with Sony's Spider-Man Universe and Spider-Verse
Seems like Sony doesn't want to crossover with other franchises yet
The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars could bring them together
For one, Gunn was not hired by DC when they were working on plans for this. At least for anything beyond the Suicide Squad at most. They plan these things in advance a lot of the time.
Two, this was going to lead to the multiverse given the rights they knew they were getting post-Endgame.
I see yeah, and I apologize if I’m harsh on Marvel, but it is because I want it to thrive, and that DC despite having made good movies, they don’t have momentum or built up trust compared to Marvel.
I hope Marvel does not feel like a betrayal, because the First Avengers helped influenced my interest in movies generally.
I get it, but conspiracies don't really help the product.
Okay, I will try and say something positive about Phase 4, even the bad ones.
WandaVision: Vision was concluded well
Falcon and Winter Soldier: John Walker is well written
Loki: Surprisingly important to overall plot, and I like it.
What If?: Thor episode was fun, and show is a bit overlooked
No Way Home: did the impossible and used Palpatine better 😏
Doctor Strange 2: Sam Raimi’s freedom in style
Now for the rest I have not seen, I will try defending.
Hawkeye: Started potential of Daredevil comeback
Moon Knight: Treated Oscar Isaac well, and recover from Apocalypse
Ms. Marvel: actress seems like a genuine fan
She-Hulk: helps the Incredible Hulk become more canon
Werewolf By Night: opens more opportunities for Micheal Giacchino (might be misspelling his name) besides composer
Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday special: Nothing wrong with spending more time with them.
Black Widow: harmless fill in the gap
Shang-Chi: great fight sequences, and Mandarin is worth the wait
Eternals: visually more consistently good
Thor 4: Jane Foster was not horrible
Wakanda Forever: earned Oscar Nomination for best supporting actress
There you go! Now you’re looking on the positive side!
As best you can... I guess.
What do you think?
