1. If people get caught up on him being half surface half water dweller, they're idiots.

2. All that sounds like is that the adaptors lack the creativity to make it distinct from the Aquaman & Avatar even though it's easy. & it's not like media cares if something is overdone. They still make movies about people moving into demon possessed houses, they still make movies about demons in general, they still make movies/shows about magic & the occult so something being done over & over again doesn't mean anything.

3. Yes Vibranium is used by others in the comics but no one else uses it like Wakanda to any degree, especially for making energy sources like a sun. But Talokan was founded on Vibranium in the sense that without it they wouldn't be there, like Wakanda, which is what made it unique. They didn't just used Vibranium to make a shield, sword, armor, etc. like other surface countries. They literally used it to rewrite themselves. They are basically the same in the sense that Vibranium made them what they are today, which destroys Wakanda's uniqueness as the country whose founded on Vibranium.

1. Yeah, that doesn't exactly exclude that factor. It just means you want to create a complex of being superior to your audience.

2. You are literally criticizing a new creative angle from different cultures already. Yes, making it the same old is easy. They didn't want to go easy.

3. Both were founded on the concept of two different cultures who used Vibranium to not be affected by colonization. That doesn't erase the unique struggles each went through. Especially considering the exploitation of Africa was very different from the kind done to Puerto Ricans. So no, it was done in a unique way. Especially considering that compared to Wakanda which used the herb to enhance only one individual per their traditions, Talocan enhanced all of them for their own survival from a completely different plan. Different technology to adapt to a completely different landscape.

2. So creator needs to go elsewhere separate from the Marvel Universe & make some underwater Mayan movie instead of replacing Atlantis which has a deep root in Marvel myth. Atlantis is part of Darkhold & Vampire lore.

3. But Wakanda is suppose to be the only nation that uses Vibranium to a grand degree. Them & only them. Not anyone else. Why can't it only be them? The movie took away from Wakanda in that way.

Say sense MOM already ruined the whole Darkhold thing, they decided to not world build in that way. Why not make up some random character for the MCU like Hope Van Dyne & instead of replacing Atlantis & Imperious Rex they used this time to explore the different magics & the Gods of Earth which would deal with Tēteoh sense it's Aztec myth? But no, they snatch Wakanda's status as the only Vibranium influenced nation & made Imperious Rex look weak.

1. Marvel wasn't going to make a crossover project with the Darkhold, Blade, or Atlantis in the MCU if they had made the more traditional Atlantis. And even if they do, they can still do it with Talocan. We only have gotten to the (pun intended) surface of their history.

2. Again, they aren't. In multiple pieces of media, others have. This method was simply another way to use it. And it doesn't occupy all their methods considering it mainly just allowed them to evolve into a different species practically.

3. Namor literally annhilated Wakanda to the point where they had a desperate plea to make him stop which ended up being his plan all along. He was hardly weak.

4. Hope was made because they basically didn't want to go into the complicated past Nadia Pym had and to continue the legacy Scott had as Ant-Man with the Wasp.

5. Doctor Strange hardly ruined the Darkhold. Especially when it was the end in it's long running story in the MCU already.

1. Comics Namor did so because he was possessed by the Phoenix Force. Know the difference. This is the second time now you don't get his strategem. There would be no point in drowning Wakanda. It doesn't benefit him one bit.

2. And none of the demonic parties connected to the book were introduced in the MCU or are connected to their current plans. Not right now anyway. The effects of the Darkhold however are still being felt through Strange in his next movie connecting back to Clea and Dormammu, but we'll have to see there. That doesn't make it a weaker bit of material for having a different story. It just means you can't stand any form of unique storytelling.

1. I know he was possessed by the Phoenix Force but the reason why I brought it up is because even without it, it's something he would do. If he had that much power just in general, he would have done that. Heck he did more during the Incursions. Instead of talking it out, he destroyed inhabited planets. He called the Phoenix Force to earth know that it's an unpredictable force that mainly destroys so that he could tame it & he was ready to murder for it. Not ask for submission from others, he summoned it & as soon as someone got remotely in his was he was ready to beat them like a Cherokee drum.

2. Cthon is in the MCU, they said it.

1. The result of annhilating Wakanda is one less ally and a surface world more ready to see him exposed and killed. The way he does it brings in Wakanda as an ally forced to work with him out of sheer fear, and will keep his secrets to make sure of that. He secured the lives of his people with his only true major loss being some of his soldiers instead of everyone like you are suggesting.

2. So have many figures that have existed in the background of this universe and a part of the wider ancient history. It does not make Clthon a part of the immediate plot. As I already mentioned. The effect of the Darkhold is mainly going to be on Strange. For Wanda, she is switching back to heroics once again as an anti-hero upon her return.

MOM did not "Ruined the Darkhold". It's treated the Darkhold the same way it has always been treated in the MCU ever since it was introduce in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. It's possibly the best thing about that complicated Movie. Also, the Darkhold and Clthon can still come back later on just like the characters or the Stones can still come back. It's is a Comics series after all lol.
