We’ll see by Armor Wars but I think they are done with HYDRA. And Mitchell Carson was apart of HYDRA.

He’s part of the Ten Rings though, which will play a part in the future.

Maybe I remembered incorrectly but I thought Carson was a HYDRA Agent. I know a Ten Rings member was with him but I always thought HYDRA and the Ten Rings were working together.

Carson does refer to all of the buyers, including the one with the Ten Rings neck tattoo, as members of HYDRA, so at least one of them is a member of both organizations. Carson is only ever stated to be HYDRA, but I feel like his potential involvement in Armor Wars would be more based on him having stolen Pym Particles rather than his allegiance to HYDRA.

Oh, King Valeska, you’re right! Thought the Ten Rings guy and him were the same person, it’s been some time since I watched that movie.

I see Mitchell being more an opportunist and will work with him anyone to get ahead. If he can work with Hydra, Ten Rings, or whoever might have similar goals to his, he will. He may not work for the Ten Rings, but he may work WITH the Ten Rings. Now that Ten Rings has new leadership, a new opportunity might also come.

@Logo8th why couldn't Mitchell Carson appear in Armor Wars? Isn't Sonny Burch confirmed to return there? He also was in the Ant-Man films.

I agree that he could appear again in Armor Wars. That's what I said in some of my messages earlier. My only objection was that I thought Armor Wars would focus more on Stark tech than on Pym tech like Carson has, but the reminder that Sonny Burch is supposed to be in the film does make a potential Mitchell Carson appearance somewhat more likely in that case.

Plus, the fact that both Hank Pym and Howard Stark worked together at S.H.I.E.L.D., so they could tie-in the Pyms into a Stark-influential story.

That is true. I had admittedly forgotten about that. S.H.I.E.L.D. tech could also be involved in the plot, which would make Carson's potential involvement in the film make even more sense.
