Not quite and some of the names probably come from the comics.

Talokan is based on a real legend, Marvel didn't create that name, and Ta Lo is from the comics.

@KingValeska I'm trying to say that Ta Lo's pronounciation is the first half of Talokan's, also if they are from that, then the comics must have ran out of names.

Marvel didn't want to use Altantis for a variety of reasons.

They really should have just used Atlantis. Most people know Atlantis outside of Aquaman, so very few would think of Marvel plagiarizing DC over the name Atlantis.

Ta Lo is from comics, Talokan (or Tlālōcān) is based on Aztec mythology. I don't understand how it's "MCU running out of made up names" or whatever you're trying to say.
