I just watched Loki and it's talking about time variants. When the Avengers went back in time to get the infinity stones did they create a time branch? If so does that mean the OG timeline still lives with the blipped being still gone 😱 I'm confused

Yeah, time traveling from a timeline doesn't create a new timeline but traveling into the middle of one does. Going to the present of a timeline also doesn't
@DavisRanger Yea because it just alters the timeline
No Loki created a new timeline branch when he took the Tesseract in Endgame
The original timeline still lives because the Avengers succeeded in stopping Thanos and Steve was able to return the Infinity Stones to the correct place in time
Bro what. them traveling back in time is what caused it to split. It's just the Avengers returning to the prime timeline was what supposed to happen, but the TVA cared that Loki escaped.
There are Variants (Doppelgängers) throughout the Multiverse
They confirmed in Loki that what the Avengers did didn’t create another branch
^Bruh
What!?
(God I can not read today) Oh, he means creating a branch from 2023 not the other dates, sorry
The Avengers traveled from the main timeline 2023, creating branches from each year they went to (2014, 2012, 2013, 1970, etc.) each of these alternate timeline were most likely pruned, or, didn’t have significant enough nexus events for the TVA to notice. After the Time Heist the Avengers returned to the same 2023 timeline they started in
What do you think?
