It says that I need access.
The viewing ordering is fine
I have a much different viewing order
Still haven't figured out where shows from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to Helstrom will go
I already checked it out and you're missing Iron Man 3, episodes 1,3,4 of I am Groot and I don't know what the fuck "GFS" means. Remove Helstrom from that list, it's already confirmed to be non-canon. And Phase 4 projects?
🗿
Helstrom is still canon, and it's set in November 2020 (probably)
Showrunner Paul Zbyszewski said that Helstrom is not canon, his comment was backed up by series star Sydney Lemmon. Marvel Tv produced 11 series located in the MCU, go to the Marvel Database and you'll realize it's not canon.
Okay? I could say the same things to you. Marvel Television head Jeph Loeb said that it is canon, his comment was back by series star Alain Uy and tweets which Helstrom’s official Twitter account interacted with. Marvel TV made 12 series located in the MCU, go to the Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki and you’ll realize it’s canon
Marvel Database is objective about Helstrom canon, Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki is subjective.
Alain Uy is like Tyrese Gibson who out of ignorance assumes that they were part of the MCU. Jeph Loeb said that Ghost Rider would have references to Helstrom but that never happened.
While we're on the subject, I was checking the Marvelus message wall and came across this comment:
What exactly is it that makes Marvel Database more objective than us?
And if you want to look at the actual quotes like with Loeb, Zbyszewski only said that the show would not be connecting to the MCU. He never said that it isn't canon.
So Uy assumed that it was MCU, Lemmon assumed that it wasn't. Why should either hold more weight?
And I'm not entirely sure what Marvelus' opinion on it has to do with this. Is it a grey area? Sure. But the highest on the latter (Loeb) said it's canon, there are references to the MCU (a prop mentioning the Sokovia Accords, a few MCU-only newspapers, etc.), and the official Twitter account repeatedly interacted with and reposted things calling it MCU
What makes the Marvel Database more objective is that they took as true the showrunner's comment that was not contradicted by Jeph Loeb at any time (And I'm sure Loeb's comment was before Zbyszewski's, plans change over time you know?), instead the Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki focuses on small easter eggs to say that they are the same universe.
The newspaper that mentions the Sokovia Accords cannot be read in the series as it is a behind the scenes prop, also newspapers can be reused without needing to be from the same universe, for example the Daily Bugle that appears in the SSU has the same design as in the original Spider-Man trilogy.
Marvelus's comment just surprised me as even one of the admins of this wiki doubts the canonicity of Helstrom.
What do you think?
