Okay this episode was cool
Jen is definitely growing on me, that's nice
Holy crap so Wong IS a criminal... The Masters of the Mystic Arts seem to be a lot more irresponsible than I thought.
I hope Blonsky is faking, I don't want a "Bro Abomination"
I also hope this is the last time we'll see Dennis Bukowski, 'cause he's way too cartoonish and the show is trying a bit too hard to make fun of him
Yes! The Wrecking Crew! A few days ago I watched an episode of Avengers: EMH that had them as the main villains so this is nice
Wait, who's the boss? Is It the Leader or am I flashing?
That post-credits scene was... Interesting. Really, really, really interesting.
I really enjoyed this episode. I enjoyed both Abomination hearing and the trial scene with the elf. Megan cameos were okay, but didn’t have any high expectations with them.
Wong remains great as usual.
We know we will see Abomination support group soon from scenes shown already, so we seem more soon of him. I think there is a chance he is reformed but Thunderbolts team makes him become Abomination again. Or he is going to slip and become Abonination forcing him to have to be on Thunderbolts to avoid prison again, since that is breaking his parole.
Wrecking crew was interesting. I do wonder who their boss is too. It would be interesting if Kingpin is getting involved on both coasts (NY and LA). It would be cool to see Kingpin uniting street levels heroes to take on him and his super powered villains for some future show or film.
Breaking the 4th wall works for me, just like it did for Deadpool. I had no problems with it.
Honestly my take on the 4th wall breaking is it's just kind of a quirk Jen has, or like her own inner monologue. Kind of like Jessica Jones narrating every episode of her show.
No one has an issue with Deadpool breaking the 4th wall
Why are people having a problem with the Original 4th wall breaker doing it?
IKR?
I don't have an issue with it. I just want to see how it could make sense in-universe. I'd do the same with Deadpool
This was the best episode, the series In general has been mid.
^It's been okay, the latest episode has been a step up from the previous two.
Agreed, the series does not come close to Wandavision or Loki
This is my favorite She-Hulk episode so far. I loved seeing Wong, and now we know the real reason he broke Emil out of prison. Though before this episode came out I saw a news article with a theory about how Wong was training Emil Blonsky to be a superhero, which I think would have been a better reason for breaking him out of prison rather than just to find someone to fight with, since I didn’t think Wong would be the type to risk getting arrested to find someone to fight with. And couldn’t he have found someone else instead, someone who isn’t in prison? Wong’s explanation was a bit underwhelming, but that’s just a minor thing, overall I loved Wong in this episode. I also loved the fourth wall break with how Jen was saying “I know you want to see Wong”, I was surprised that she basically summed up my thoughts. This episode was pretty fun and interesting, with both the Emil Blonsky case and the case with the light elf happening at once, it was interesting to see those two cases progress. It does make me wonder about that part where Dennis said that he wished there were a way to remove the light elf’s powers, I don’t know if that’s foreshadowing or something, but it kind of seems like throughout phase four, there’s been lots of new heroes and superpowered individuals popping up, and with there now being a superhuman law division, it kind of seems like having powers is being normalized. But also it seems like the government might not be always happy with how many new superpowered individuals there are, like what happened in Ms. Marvel, and now in She-Hulk there’s talk about removing someone’s powers, it just kind of feels like they’re building up to something. Like it reminds me of X-Men, where there were many people who weren’t happy about mutants and people having superpowers. Like how the government weren’t happy with Mystique’s shapeshifting powers since she could impersonate the president or a government official, and the light elf has shapeshifting powers too, and she impersonated a judge. I don’t know if the MCU is going to go that route with there being a conflict between the government and superheroes, since right now superheroes like the Avengers are loved, but there have been some hints here and there, and with Ms. Marvel being revealed as a mutant, I wonder they’re building up to something. I don’t know, maybe I’m over analyzing, but I think it’s a possibility. Also I wonder what Jen meant by Dennis giving her an idea.
What do you think?
