I enjoyed Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson. I thought it was cool that he was in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. He made appearance was well welcomed and he served as great ally for Steve and Natasha. He had good chemistry with them. I thought it was neat that he made an appearance in Age of Ultron even though it was a small role. His roles in Civil War, Infinity War and Endgame made him a great ally for Steve. And his cameo appearance in Ant-Man was fun as well. Besides Steve has good chemistry with Scott and Bucky. I thought it was nice that Steve passed the shield to him. I know fans wanted Bucky as the next Captain America, but I think Sam as Cap was a good choice. I enjoyed his role in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. His relationship with Bucky continued to grow, I was surprised at first that he didn't take the shield at the start. But much later on he became worthy to wield up the shield. But overall I have to say I have enjoyed Sam Wilson as Falcon and I am looking forward to him continuing as the next Captain America
Anthony Mackie has done a phenomenal job playing Sam Wilson. An underrated character who finally got the spotlight he deserved in FATWS (an underrated series imo). I loved how he stood by Steve despite not knowing Bucky personally and despite having to become a fugitive because of that. I can’t wait to see where he goes from here as the new Captain America!
Amazing
I agree with what people said above. I can’t wait to see him again!
Love the actor and the character. At first, I thought making him Captain America would feel forced but when FATWS came out I gotta say I think he really earned the shield.
As for it being an underrated show, this is probably my least favorite D+ series. It felt very predictable and a little too traditional (they didn't take enough risks making it), I still liked the show but I feel like they could have done more with it
My only complaint was the super-soldier serum. People tried for over five decades to recreate the serum they even had steve Rodgers blood and some of the greatest minds in the world working on it (like Howard Stark and Bruce Banner) and they were unsuccessful. Then all of a sudden this random never before heard of guy recreated the serum. At least when Zola created it he was an already established genus alive during the same time period Erskine developed it. I guess what I'm trying to say is it felt a little convenient.
Also, I didn't want to make my own post about this... if Zemo hated enhanced people so much why didn't he go after the Red Room? I mean he went after the winter soldiers... why not go after the Black Widows?
He’s awesome as The Falcon before and now he’s Captain America after, I can’t wait to see him again on Captain America 4 in the future
Anthony is just a amazing actor he played Sam with such character and gave him such personality he played Sam phenomenally
Because the Widows aren't Super Soldiers in the MCU. The only two he would go after is Alexei and Maybe Antonia.
He's great, I can't imagine Falcon NOT being Mackie.
What do you think?
