Lmao it was so good and funny
I noticed that Avengerscon was selling Captain Marvel Funko pops specifically these:
It really helps in setting up Kamala’s new responsibility with her powers. I can see her character arc being quite similar with that of Peter Parker.
Also, I can see a potential for this website getting a form of shout-out due to the presence of the Avengers fandom in the series.
I already knew the general concept and themes surrounding Kamala Kahn going into this show but for those who know nothing about the Ms. Marvel book by G. Willow Wilson this episode gives a great introduction to Kamala and her supporting cast, specifically Bruno Carrelli as Kamala's best friend and her family, Yusuf, Muneeba and Aamir Kahn. Speculation time, in the post-credits scene we see Agent Cleary, the guy who arrested Spider-Man for Mysterio's murder in No Way Home so do you think Damage Control is chasing a villain or do you think they want Kamala herself
What are the differences in Kamala's powers between the MCU and Marvel Comics aka in the comic books?
Kamala in the comics can elongate any part of her body, grow into large sizes, and shapeshift, more or less like Mister Fantastic. Kamala in the MCU seems to have Green Lantern-esque powers due to the energy constructs.
@CarverSindile In the comics Ms. Marvel's powers are that she can "embiggen" and stretch her limbs and is presented more like Plastic Man. When Kamala creates a big arm to save Zoe Zimmer from falling off Thor's hammer, in the comics that would have been her real arm rather than a hard-light construct
What do you think?
