this actor swap thing doesn't work. if that were the case, Iron Man would be in a parallel reality because of Terrence Howard. and no matter if the characters changed their design or not they were still the same versions of the characters, Thanos is a great example of that.

Nope. It’s not possible one bit. The Incredible Hulk is 100% Sacred Timeline Marvel Cinematic Universe canon.

Perhaps the hypothesis of the parallel universe was too much, but do you agree that it would be nice to integrate more The Incredible Hulk the rest of the MCU, by returning for example Betty Ross and Samuel Sterns?

It's actually already happening, Ross is back in Civil War, and Blonsky is back in She-Hulk, and Betty Ross returned in the What If episode based at Fury's Big Week but unfortunately not part of the Sacred Timeline.

Actor change doesn't justify anything. Rhodey, Fandral, Red Skull, plus many of the characters in what if had different voice actors. Character design doesn't mean anything either. Thanos, Abomination, Howard the Duck. And as previously mentioned while a different version Betty Ross appeared in What If, and I'm almost positive Sterns will apear again. I mean if William Ginter frickin Riva can appear again after 11 years so can Sterns.

In The Avengers talked about putting a bullet through him and the other guy (Hulk) spit it up. Now from what I read that was a deleted scene from The Incredible Hulk, so technically it would have to be in the same universe otherwise that reference wouldn't have been referenced in the movie

Also Don Cheadle and Zachary Levi replaced Terrence Howard and Josh Dallas so that doesn't mean Iron Man and Thor are in different universes

Actually it did have an impact on the MCU. We revisited the Culver University scene in What If (albeit a tad differently). But it was basically the same event and the school looked the same. And Culver University appeared in Agents of SHIELD as the place where Dr. Garner worked. Also, Tim Roth is returning as Abomination.

I guess it's not impossible that it could be parallel -- but then, you could say that about almost anything. A recast alone doesn't mean much, as other characters have been recast. Rhodey looks completely different than he did in Iron Man 1, but I don't see anyone advocating for making Iron Man 1 a parallel universe.

Marvel created a short film called "The Consultant" focused on the final scene of TIH. Scenes from The Incredible Hulk can be seen on computer screens in Iron Man 2 and The Avengers, WHiH World News has appeared in several movies and TV shows after TIH, Culver University is mentioned in Thor, Bruce Banner mentions the fight [with Abomination] in Harlem in The Avengers, a poster for "Pingo Doce" [the fictional soda from TIH] appears in Ant-Man, William Hurt returned as Thaddeus Ross in 4 movies, Tim Roth is returning as Abomination in a TV show that will likely include more references to TIH.

I really don’t understand why people still have this notion that TIH is not "fully integrated" to the MCU.
