So I’m seeing a lot of 616 or 199999 posts that have to be deleted. So I’m just going to say what the deal is. Palmer says “our universe designated it as Earth-616” meaning that their universe designated it as that, not that it is 616. It’s still 199999.

Guys, I think we as a community need to move past our attachment to the 199999 designation. I think it was pretty obvious for quite a while that the MCU was not going to acknowledge its existence within the comic multiverse. At the end of the day, the MCU is incompatible with the comics universe. They exist separately. They’re can’t be two America Chavez’s. That mean that the comic multiverse and the MCU multiverse have to be separate. I don’t think that damages anything within each universe. As far as I’m aware, the only connection between the MCU and the comic multiverse is an “off-panel visit” in one issue of a comic. I don’t think that gluing the MCUs multiverse to the history of the comic multiverse is worth one offpanel reference. It’s okay for both universes to be separate 616 universes. There is nothing wrong with that.

I really enjoyed this movie! 9/10. I was really surprised to see Wanda go into full villain mode especially giving her recent experiences with Westview. I couldn’t help but feel for her desire to be happy for a change after all of the pain she’s had to endure. If she’s truly dead, I hope she can finally rest in peace. I love Doctor Strange and Chavez’s chemistry throughout the movie. They gave off heavy master-student vibes almost akin to Tony’s and Peter’s. My only complaints are the fact that Wong felt kinda flat as a character and I would’ve loved to see a little more multiverse exploring. It would’ve been cool if we saw more of the X-men since we finally got Professor Xavier in the MCU!

So since dreams are just other timelines, that retroactively makes all of the dream sequences we’ve seen in the MCU a timeline somewhere in the multiverse.

That implies that the musical sequence in Agent Carter Season 2 actually happened in an alternate timeline.

Hey everyone! Just saw Doctor Strange 2!

Fantastic movie overall, 8.5/10. America Chavez is an amazing new addition, Wanda is now one of the most well-written characters in the MCU. The creativity was OFF THE CHARTS.

However I will say it was a bit too gory for my taste… I am very squeamish and that kind of stuff REALLY gets to me.

Also, WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH PROFESSOR X AND JOHN KRASINSKI AS MR. FANTASTIC AHHHHH

^I personally loved how horrific the movie was at times. I love a good jump scare every now and then 😂. I can’t wait to see more of America Chavez!

^ Yeah I have a real issue with that, I can’t even watch horror movies because some stuff just sticks with me too long, and yeah America was awesome!

If there's only one America Chavez in comic book continuity, it's doesn't make sense how another version exists for the MCU

At this point, the MCU can stand alone as it's own multiverse and doesn't need the attachments to it's comic book counterparts. We can also excuse that as the reason why the Infinity Stones work in other universes in Marvel Cinematic Multiverse unlike in the comics.
