I really don't like that this is even a possibility these days. The idea totally undermines all character development and growth and makes appearances just "one-off fun" with no consequence or proper storytelling. It's a big concern for me about the multiverse moving forward.

That said, there is no reason to believe this is a Variant Jane. Particularly since she has this earth's Mjolnir, reforged. And I sincerely hope it is not just a cheat "We got a different Jane from another universe!", instead actually building on the past into something new and exploring and enriching the character we have followed.

I recommend giving it a chance. From what we know, they're seemingly tackling some quite serious subject matter from the comics about what Jane is going through while becoming worthy.

I never read the comics so I know nothing about this whole Jane Thor thing

@Pikachulover999 It's been confirmed to be the main universe's Jane and I doubt it will be rushed. The way she becomes Thor is very simple.

I am positive they're going to make a pretty good exposition and explanation for Jane's Thor.
