That part in Spider-Man No Way Home really disappointed me

When the three Peters meet, Andrew and Tobey mention their Uncle Ben, and the first time seeing that part, it gets me thinking that this is the moment where Tom finally mentions his, only to not even react to the name. Seriously that doesn’t make sense. Throughout everything, he is never once mentioned, it’s like they didn’t make an Uncle Ben in the MCU. How do you explain the briefcase with the initials ‘B.F.P?’ and also he’s mentioned in the zombies episode of What if? What the hell is all that about?

I know, that part really bothers me too. What the hell is that about? Uncle Ben is an important part of Spider-Man story. He’s the reason Peter became a superhero instead of using his powers for his own selfish gain.

Actually, I believe he did exist in fact I swear his reaction sparked a memory of his Uncle Ben. Not to mention What If...? actually brought him up, and even though that is a different timeline/universe it still borrowed from the MCU.

I'm assuming they didn't want to repeat the same storyline, so they used May Parker in a different way to bring about the same outcome. That doesn't mean that Uncle Ben didn't exist in the MCU, it just means that he didn't have the same role and likely died before any of the stuff we see on-screen happened.

What If...? takes place in a different universe, so you can't really use that in an argument.
