We all know that Butterfield was being looked at for Spider-Man so why lean into it and cast him as the Scarlet Spider

Ah, Asa Butterfield. He was the runner up to play MCU Spider-Man, the choice came down between him & Tom Holland. Sometimes I wonder what Butterfield's Spider-Man would've been like, had they gone with him.

I feel like if they went with Asa, he would be a more Maguire spider-man. But, I think Tom made it his own.
