I think it will end up being one of the “original” Guardians teased at the end of Vol.2. Either one or all of them.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they tease Star-Lord, Rocket, and/or Drax’s deaths just to say, “PSYCH! They’re actually fine this time, why’re you so worried?”
