I didnt want to see the movie. But i am glad I did, it's a mess but it was to be at least enjoyable(to an extent) but I can't stop thinking about it, there are many questions and answers yet be to explained this to me is what makes a movie in a in depth franchise like the MCU.
For me it's one of the best MCU films
No. I liked it, and it was great! It had a lot of flaws, but it is so HATED ON.. stop hating it
Yes
You are not alone...
But I think people hate it because there was a lot of interrupting in the story... or maybe because it's a litle bit complicated for some people... maybe not everyone understood the movie... I don't know... but still, it's one of the best MCU movies for me
Eternals is okay. The action scenes and humor are nice but there is a lot of confusing plots and dialogue scenes. At the beginning it's hard to keep track of everyone's names. In fact, I was still going over in my head who was who after I left the theater.
I thought it was a little too much for one movie but it was still a good movie
Hey everyone! I watched the video where TheCanadianLad breaks down Eternals in 0.25x speed and he had the reason why Eternals flopped. I'll summarize what he says in the video in my own words, and I'll link the video...
"The reason Eternals flopped is because of the chemistry between Ikaris and Sersi, where the whole plot is based on. The story makes us believed they had a relationship for more then 1000 years, but in the movie their chemistry is like they don't know each other longer then a day! This would be Gemma Chan's fault because she was not playing at her best, or at least the script didn't let her to do. To compare, the chemistry between Druig and Makkari was much better and that was not one of the main plot points!"

Here's the video! Do you guys agree with TheCanadianLad and me or do you think the chemistry between Ikaris and Sersi was not that bad? Let me know!
I don't see the reason the movie flopped was because of Ikaris and Sersi's relationship. It was, at times, rather well performed, imo. Though yea, I didn't felt the strongest of connections sadly. But I think the core is well represented, so I don't see too much of an issue. Druig and Makkari does not get the same amount of attention, I find myself questioning the specific boundaries of their relationship. The movie is more centered on Sersi and Ikaris so we know more about how they feel about each other.
I think I’m the past they really showed the relationship well. And then in the present they purposely made it awkward
What do you think?
