So we know people are talking about the Defenders and possibly Agents of SHIELD returning to the MCU, but how come we don't see them talk about Cloak and Dagger or the Runaways?
Even though C&D is a pretty great show overall, both shows were marketed towards a teen audience. Compared to the gritty appeal of the Marvel Knights stuff and the general Marvel appeal of Carter and AoS, they just weren't gonna have the biggest of audiences, especially one comprised of people that know they're MCU
What I do think is that they don't talk much about Helstrom and Inhumans. I personally think they should take that show out of canon and not because of the actors, but because of the script. I hope and give Anson Mount a chance to play BlackBolt again
I'd be fine with that happening with Inhumans; Helstrom's just fine in its little corner of the MCU. But, you might be getting your wish with Black Bolt, and you may be getting it pretty soon according to rumors
@DirectorNook8 With Helstrom if you can empathize with the characters. The relationship between Daimon and Ana reminded me of Shang-Chi and Xialing, a sister angry at her brother's abandonment.
Ah, yes, the curse of one-season shows opting for a second season when they inevitably are cancelled; very annoying. But, my guess is Marduk has similar plans for her as he did his daughter ... so not good.
Also, totally agree with the Shang-Chi anology; didn't think of that til now!
I am not really sure but that's probably because Cloak & Dagger and Runaways were on Freeform so probably it's different places where shows are aired. But I am not really sure, but I do hope those two shows along with Helstrom
