Time Travel a plot hole in itself. Best not to worry about it. Doctor Strange 2 is coming out in 5 months so we will see what happens. Hopefully he fixes it.

We don’t know what Season 2 will be about. It will be released sometime in (probably early) 2023.

I read somewhere that the second season in going to release in 2023 or later in 2024. 😥

Some things will be cleared up in Multiverse of Madness, but my guess is that Kang somehow took over the TVA via time travel, and there are now millions of branches with millions of Kangs trying to take over the multiverse. To defeat them all, you would need something as powerful as Alioth, although I doubt that's a solution after this big of a catastrophe. No idea about it's release date, but I'm pretty sure it should be at some point from late 2022 to mid 2023.
