It's likely that by the end of this phase we will be setting up the X-Men introduction through the multiverse, as well as seeing the F4 likely helping to fix everything, they're a big enough deal to kinda float in and have the answers for the ever breaking multiverse.

You do realize there is Fantastic Four film is in the main MCU continuity or did you forget the Fantastic Four had a film. Also Feige confirmed an X-Men film in development. Also fans ara backlash against the idea of Mutants being brought in through the Multiverse because that is so stupid and cheap and not comic accurate. It would be a waste seriously all they need to do is connect the Mitsnt gene to Celestials and bam you got MCU Mutants.

What do you mean F4 is in the continuity, you mean the old movie or the new one? Because old is not, and new will almost definitely be in 199999. And if they don't bring X-Men from multiverse, the it'll probably be mutations showing up for the first time, or(and I hate this one)they've been hiding all this time. I'd like it to he multiverse, because then the X-Men are canon and we don't have to restart the whole story or leave anything to ambiguity.

Both of Fox's versions were complete garbage so do people want to see the old ones. Probably not. People are more excited for the MCU team.
