As a huge Marvel fan and a fan of the comics there is one thing I have been wanting for a long time and that is the X-Men and Fantastic Four in the MCU ever since 2016 when I started to invest in the MCU. Thanks to the Disney-Fox merger my dream of a complete Marvel Universe started to come closer to a reality. Now we have a Fantastic Four movie in the works which is awesome, but the X-Men have no movie announcement yet. Kevin Feige has confirmed an X-Men movie in development in an interview, so it is happening. So many theories have been developed from a Mutant or two in every Phase 4 project to a the Eternals introducing the concepts of Mutants however neither have been true even though in the comics Celestials are responsible for the Mutant gene so why Marvel Studios and Chloe Zhoa wasted that opportunity sucks and one of my many gripes with the Eternals film. So if they are actually connected to the Celestials or not remains to be seen all I know is they will be different from the Fox X-Men and there costumes will probably be more comic accurate which is a plus. There is one theory that many of us including me does not like the idea that the Multiverse will introduce Mutants sorry but that is the most stupidest and uncomic accurate way to introduce. Plus if they can do Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four in the main continuity there is absolutely no excuse but to introduce them in the main continuity. So I hope for an MCU X-Men film as soon as 2024 so they don't over delay there debut.
