I have seen soooooo many posts on every platform over who should play spider-gwen considering she and miles will be coming to the MCU in the general future.

The Main contestants i have seen are Emma stone, and Hailee steinfield. I have seen a lot specifically for Emma stone.

That makes sense. I mean she was gwen so it makes sense. I ABSOLUTELY do not want Emma stone as spider gwen. She was amazing as gwen in the Andrew movies there is no doubt abt that. Truly the best peter love interest.

But guys, She is way too old. If we want a romance with miles, trilogies, her origin (and the fact that she lost her peter), etc, we can’t have Emma stone as spider Gwen. I also believe that Emma stone has said she doesn’t want to return (as a spider). Now some ppl want her because if spider gwen was older she could have a romantic relationship with Andrew’s peter. She never had a romantic relationship with any peter from the comics. They kept it strictly platonic and there could be sooooooo many opportunities for an amazing dynamic and back and forth between a normal aged spider gwen and Andrew’s peter. It would be a great way for Andrew’s peter to come to forgiving himself, as well as spider Gwen since she also lost her peter.

I’m saying we would be missing out on great character development and dynamic. Sorry for essay but i feel strongly abt this

And Hailee dont get me wrong would be a great spider gwen. She’s just, already Kate bishop. Which she also does very well. This could complicate some things. Some ppl have said she could be a new version cause of the multiverse and all that but Hailee will probably be booked with many many new marvel projects after Hawkeye. I say we keep her as Kate and dont complicate things. We also wanna remember that little kids r watching these things and if u dont want any talking during the movie over how gwen looks like Kate… 🙄
