I don't really think they planned that, it is just lazy writing.
It's really not that hard to believe. There are plenty of ways the world could learn of these details, which is enough for me.
In my opinion, let's just enjoy the fact that we got our Kingpin of Crime and our Man Without Fear after 3 years without seeing them.
The last message is too old to let me edit, so apologies... just another one, to remain comprehensive and for my Twitter thread.

Vincent: "You know, I learned recently though... I've learned recently that people - a couple of the fans, although they were very excited about it, they were saying... you know, they were commenting about the strength that I have, because I'm throwing Kate around and stuff. But, you know, I totally forgot - I just saw a clip on Twitter of me and Charlie fighting in DeKnight's first season. Steven DeKnight, who's obviously, an incredible writer, I mean, he helped develop the character of Wilson Fisk, you know, because he wrote it. But there's a scene in an alley that we shot, on the street, in Brooklyn, where I'm literally throwing Daredevil, Charlie, through the air. Like, I'm picking him up and swinging him for, you know, 15 feet into a garbage can, you know. Like, I do it a few times in that fight. It's no different, you know, it really isn't. You know... so, I keep saying that, you know, it's the same, it's the same Fisk as it was in DD, and the same canon. But, people get confused about things, I understand. You know, the thing is, the trick is that you can't connect every dot. It's impossible. But, you can connect as many as you can. You know, like, we really tried to connect as much as we can. And so, in my mind, and I think it will always be that way, that it is, you know... it is the same Fisk."

ComicBook.com: "What was Fisk up to during the Blip, during the Snap?"
Vincent: "I think, I think he lost his power. I think that he... his empire fell, because all this otherworldly stuff was going on, so... I think that it's, given the opportunity, he might have been able to even grow his empire during that stage - but he wasn't given that opportunity. So I think, I think that as far as Hawkeye goes, he's on his way back to grabbing back what is his. And, you know, it's clear, I think, from the scene with Vera and the scene with Maya, all the scenes with Maya, that, you know, his mind is set on being the king... so that's what he's gonna be."
^I love that he literally finds examples of how it not only proves that they're the same canon but also that it actually matches with something he did in Daredevil!
There's a quote going around claiming that Vincent is unsure of the Netflix canon, taken very much out of context. Just to be clear, this is the full context, where he purely says he isn't sure about the canon answer of whether Fisk Blipped or not (though presumably not, given he manipulated Clint to kill Maya's father in that time), then goes on to talk again about how not everything lining up perfectly is just a natural part of a continuing series story.

Marvel News Desk!: "From what you just went through with Kingpin - and I realise this is kind of skirting the line of it might be something that was told to you that you can't reveal or anything that - but, were you playing him as if he Blipped or as if he did not Blip? As if he was there for those 5 years or not, or can you not talk about it?"
Vincent: "Well, I don't know. I don't think I can talk about it, because I don't really know. I can only go by what I think and, you know, how I played it. But I don't want to put it out there because then it will become canon. So, it's... I never had that discussion with anybody. Um, so, I... just because of what I had to do in the story, I had to think about it in a certain way, for me to be able to understand my, sort of, history up to that point. So, yeah, I can't. Yeah. I mean, you know, hopefully I'll, you know, I'll get another stab at Fisk and it will come out in another way."
Marvel News Desk!: "Is that frustrating for you that - because like, there's been a lot of talk about canon, not canon - like, you're trying to talk as an actor about what's going on in your brain, but then the people on the Internet just want to know, like, whether they've won the flame war or not? You know, like, is that kind of hard for you to deal with when you talk to people about this stuff"
Vincent: "No! It's something... I mean, Adam's heard this before. I'm sure you've read it before. You know, I think it's impossible to connect all the dots. That, you can make an effort at connecting as many as you can. That makes sense for the continual story to go on. But you can't connect every one of them. It's hard to... you know. even when you're doing a series like, for instance, the one I'm doing now, the Godfather of Harlem... you know, 99% of the dots we can connect from season to season, but there's a few we can't. You know. And it's just part of long form storytelling."
I've seen non canoners going as far as to say that the events of the shows are canon but the shows themselves are not, which just confirms to me that no one will ever be able to convince them otherwise lol
I've seen a good number of people coming around. There are some stubborn ones, of course.
Ikr, s**t's infuriating.
Those fellas probably dont even know what canonity means. 🤣
What do you think?
