Because the actual problem was that they were a part of Spider-Mans fights. MIT didn't want to bring the controversy of people who were just arrested as accomplices of a murderer, because as Ned so perfectly explained they're "actually friends with Spider-Man", while anyone with half a brain, including the intelligent people at MIT, could easily fact-check the rubbish Flash was spouting.
True, but....lets say a person went on national TV and was saying things like oh I am besties with * Person who is thought to have murdered someone * and was acting all happy about it, even if it is true or not would they accept THAT person? a person who seems to at idolise a killer so much he has delusions about being good friends with that person? That would still be a big red flag right?
True but if nothing else, his family is almost certainly rich and he could buy his way in. However, the simple fact that he's making money off of a fact statement doesn't actually mean he's unacceptable. (It SHOULD, but that's not how life really works unfortunately.)

I dunno dude, we now live in a word where a god damn PRESIDENT can get cancelled after all lol
Yeah but the fact that the president was elected at all after publicly making fun of the disabled and threatening to hurt or nuke other people is an incredibly dark situation. I don't want to get political in this fun conversation about a superhero film, but that entire situation is just evidence that money buys influence, which is what Flash and his rich family could potentially do in this.
Easily the greatest Spider-Man movie ever made.
This movie was amazing. Easily in my top 3 comic book movies of all time. Crazy theory, what if… Sylvie is the one to restore MJ’s n ned’s memories
I wouldnt mind Sylvie restoring a thing or 2 of mine if you know what I mean, she really is a goddess XD
Awoooooga
@RedRoom1984 @Gordon EFFING Ramsay The Netflix shows were cancelled because Netflix had to pay Marvel some pretty hefty licensing fees in order to make them and they didn't think they were getting a big enough return on their investment.
@Greater good Actually it was because Netflix and Disney cut off pretty much all ties with each other following the first Disney+ announcement (although existing contracts were still carried out).
What do you think?
