Was that still Vincent
@Joshazad I'm with you, this is technically speaking the same Kingpin as in the Daredevil show but his personality and actions will be different as to fit with Marvel Studios hence soft reboot, don't expect Kazi's head to be decapitated with a car door anytime soon. I hope when they develop a new Daredevil project either a film trilogy or a Disney+ show they take inspration from the Brian Michael Bendis and Ed Brubaker runs or perhaps if they want a lightier tone with some great heart they could do the Mark Waid run. I just hope it isn't the Frank Miller run again as it was already done in the Ben Affleck film as well as the Netflix show
@BartusZsolt1996 Thoughts?
I was silent screaming because my whole family was asleep
Ok. Yelena's confirmed as another Blip victim, that's neat. My biggest question though...Wilson Fisk. Who let him out of jail?
He survived the Blip. It doesn't seem hard to see that jail system failed and he freed himself.
Half of all living creatures just died, it wouldn't be hard for him to get out during the chaos
Lol they basicly already did a decapitation in the falcon and winter soldier, so i bet fisk won’t be any less violant. Also i hope it’s not going to be a reboot that would be a shame for the daredevil series and the charachter
Honestly, we won't know whether the Netflix canon is maintained until we have real evidence (a firm reference or, oppositely, a blatant contradiction).
Marvel Studios very purposedly kept an ambiguity in that regard: the Internet has been burning about this for 2 years and a half, and Feige and co. knew and could have made a definitive statement at any time, like "don't worry guys", or "sorry guys", but didn't.
So the only things we know is that we don't know, but that sooner or later (hopefully as early as next week), we will know for sure. After 3 seasons of DD, it seems unlikely that Marvel can maintain the soft reboot "we will neither reference nor contradict it" option forever: too much already happened, not to mention the crossovers with other Netflix characters who also come with their lore and history.
Either way, having the best possible Kingpin actor still playing the Kingpin is awesome news :D
Wow this is so surreal. Kingpin back one day and Charlie the very next. Would never have imagined this at the start of last December.
What do you think?
