I'm seeing No Way Home in 9 hours' time (no spoilers, anyone - this is not the thread for it) and hope for a double whammy.
I loved this episode for one character, Yelena Belova. She was such an incredible threat in this episode and we have confirmed that Eleanor Bishop was the person who contacted Valentina Allegra de Fontaine to send her after Hawkeye. We will have to see what role Kingpin serves next week but now that he has fully shown albeit in a picture sent from Yelena to Kate everyone can shut up about wanting to see him in every episode. Eleanor Bishop is the main antagonist of Hawkeye and the Kingpin is the overarching antagonist
Spider man no way home reference by Kate saying the new statue of liberty
Lol how the turn tables have turned, can’t wait to see this finally play out next episode
KINGPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNN
I’m beyond excited, but I have a feeling this is a new kingpin, bc I feel like they are soft rebooting the Netflix shows to have the same cast but new stories for them to tell.
Nah. It is not a new Kingpin. Respecting Netflix continuity already, by having him use two different suits respecting Daredevil's time frame.
Soft reboot keeps old continuity... It keeps it. And you can have the same cast and versions and give them new stories without necessarily rebooting them.
Yikes. They are canon. End of story.
Did anybody else replace Mister Grinch with Wislon Fisk during the credits? LMAO 🤣
Great episode but I'm sorry, it was completely overshadowed by Fisk.
Loved Yelena and her dialogue about heroes. Loved the Avengers memorial. Loved Ronin vs. Echo. Loved the reveals.
My theory about Kingpin betraying Maya's dad was right! My prediction that that revelation carries over into Echo is also likely.
Was that still Vincent
@Joshazad I'm with you, this is technically speaking the same Kingpin as in the Daredevil show but his personality and actions will be different as to fit with Marvel Studios hence soft reboot, don't expect Kazi's head to be decapitated with a car door anytime soon. I hope when they develop a new Daredevil project either a film trilogy or a Disney+ show they take inspration from the Brian Michael Bendis and Ed Brubaker runs or perhaps if they want a lightier tone with some great heart they could do the Mark Waid run. I just hope it isn't the Frank Miller run again as it was already done in the Ben Affleck film as well as the Netflix show
What do you think?
