I watched the pilot with my mother. She didn't want me to watch it, so I watched it without her. That pilot was very inappropriate.

I wouldn’t say that there was anything explicitly inappropriate for the characters or what they wanted to communicate with the show, but it definitely was aimed at an older audience (like the Netflix shows overall).

The violence is deliberately more graphic, but that doesn’t really attract as much concern as sexual content.

All of the shows had obligatory sex scenes (Luke Cage right out of the damn gate), but Jessica Jones was really the only one where it felt necessary to the plot.

I'd suggest just letting her watch it, just be there and don't make it awkward (I don't know). I personally never watched the Marvel shows, but based on other experiences and knowledge, she can simply look away whenever something happens (her choice).
