Disney gives Feige full reign of films but still lets Perlmutter have a say in Television.

So: What If…Feige ran the TV side of Marvel from the beginning?

I love Marvel Television shows, I do! But would there be less complaints by non-canoners? I think so.

Just anything more sensible/logical/interesting of a question than things like "What If... Killmonger Rescued Tony Stark?" - this season had a lot of pretty "random" questions just as an excuse to do weird and wacky things.

"What If... Ultron Won?" was the best example - an actual sensible big pivot moment to build off.

(That's not to say Killmonger was the worst episode or Ultron the best - there are more factors than the question itself, and both rank in the middle for me.)

So (sticking to Marvel Studios only for realism's sake), things like - just off the top of my head (ideas, not theories):

• What If... Tony Stark Died in Afghanistan? Could explore the impact of a world without Iron Man, and the spiralling consequences of that.

• What If... Thor Never Met Jane Foster? Could explore the impact of Thor not becoming worthy again and potentially being killed by the Destroyer, Loki taking Asgard, building the consequences off that.

• What If... Steve Rogers Was Found Immediately? Could explore a world where Captain America was a hero for the '40s-'60s instead and then the modern day a different understanding of heroes - but was also missing Steve.

• What If... Steve Rogers Signed the Sokovia Accords? The Tony and Steve Berlin scene goes differently and Steve gives in. Exploring what would have happened had the avengers stayed together at the expense of Steve staying true to his ideals.

• What If... Mordo Became Sorcerer Supreme? Mordo steps up to the plate when the Ancient One dies and leads things in a terrible direction.

• What If... Peter Quill Submitted to Ego? Ego doesn't mention the tumour and his expansion begins.

• What If... Captain Marvel Stayed on Earth? The alternate history of what 1995-2018 would have been like with her around.

• What If... Shang-Chi Returned to His Father? Shang-Chi gives in to the dark path after killing his mother's murderer.
