I... really hated a lot of this episode, to be perfectly honest. I'm not sure I can be bothered to explain why.
For me, this is the worst Marvel Studios MCU instalment hands down, beating the Captain Carter episode for that spot.
This was like comedy in the whole show
This at least wasn't dark, but I cringed out a lot, that's the thing
I like when it's dark, it was so funny when drac starter saying you are the pooper of the party 😂
Not convinced at all this time. Beh. Looked like a parody of "War of the Realms", with Frost Giants and Fire Demons wreaking havoc on Earth... but not seriously. A waste of time in my view, since it wasn't even that funny. Just to taunt the guys wondering "who's the strongest between..."
This was probably my least favorite episode so far, but I did not dislike any of it.
This was a lot of fun. It was basically what you'd get if someone made an 80s teen comedy with a cast of insanely powerful, otherworldly beings.
There were a lot of comedic elements that I really enjoyed. Some highlights were Thor and Loki basically being frat bros, Darcy and Howard being married by an Elvis impersonator, Carol calling Thor "Whitesnake", Surtur hitting on the Statue of Liberty, Rumlow's disappointment that they wouldn't be launching the nukes, everyone being terrified of Frigga and Thor straightening the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
The fight between Thor and Carol was great and to be honest I already like this version of her better than the one from the movies. Once Thor knocked over Stonehenge, I was like "Kick his ass, Carol."
Did anyone notice that this is the second time the MCU has given us a re-enactment of "They're heeeeeeere...." from Poltergeist?
Did anyone else find it weird that Heimdall didn't have any lines in this episode? Idris Elba was probably too busy to record lines for it, but couldn't they have gotten a sound-alike like Phil Lamarr?
Since the Watcher was genuinely surprised by Vision-Ultron's arrival, I'd say that despite his insistence of not interfering, he will be bringing the heroes from the different realities together to vanquish this enemy. The only one we haven't been introduced to yet is Gamora, Daughter of Thanos, so I'm guessing that they next episode will focus on her and also delve into the origins of this villain. I wonder who does his voice - Paul Bettany, James Spader or maybe Ross Marquand if Spader wasn't available?
Such a great episode, everything was just great! That Thor was fun to watch, Thor vs Cap Marvel, everyone teaming up to not get in trouble by Brigga & even the US government 😂 that ending was great too, fantastic episode 🔥
Brigga you say?
I’m not even going to edit that, just enjoy my typo 🤣🤣
What do you think?
