They are different universes stuff is supposed to go different
Still doesn’t make sense. The suit literally could not have existed in this reality in 2009 based on everything we know. Shuri did not create the suit yet
It's an ALTERNATE REALITY.
That was THE EXACT SAME as the main reality until this episode
He’s right, it’s the exact same reality until the nexus event
Yes but different universes
@SuthMaster each episode is an alternate reality that had one big change and the 1 or 2 minor changes that you have catch. For example Bucky was not humorous in ep 1 than in the movies. So maybe in this one Shuri was smarter or maybe Eric had asked her for the suit that he wanted and she made it.
@Brett3801 the avengers not going into civil war was one of the changes in that universe
Not one that was told to us, and there are things referenced that would suggest Civil War did happen, such as Bucky knowing T'Challa and one of Sharon's skills in the training video being "eulogies." Anyway, this isn't the topic of this thread
The most entertaining thing about this episode was Killmonger being a schemer, puppet master and backstabber. He wanted to become the Black Panther so badly that he single-handedly started a war between America and Wakanda.
The episode definitely plants breadcrumbs for a follow-up, with Ross planning to nuke Wakanda off the face of the Earth, T'Challa warning Killmonger that absolute power corrupts absolutely and Shuri and Pepper forming an alliance.
Fun fact: In this episode, Shuri was voiced by Ozioma Akagha, who played Tamar in Runaways.
