This only my opinion but given the Multiverse is infinite and well Doctor Strange 2 can only show so many universes and I think they should lower it down a little bit given there is only so much you can show in 2-2.5 hours. (let's face it isn't Endgame so it has to be less then 3 hours) That is why I think it is best they stick with the comics universes, What If...? scenarios, and alternate MCU's. Basically skipping the old non MCU stuff that has zero connection to the MCU aka the non Marvel Studios produced stuff. Why am I saying this you may ask well for a few reasons, one it may be a Multiverse film but there is still a budget $170 million estimated that is half of Endgame and closer in budget to Doctor Strange 1 meaning they can't pay 100 actors especially from the old franchises because some will demand a lot of cash. Another thing is some either don't want to be there character again i.e. Hugh Jackman. The final thing is it would be copying there rival as they did something similar back in 2019 and it was successful and last I checked Marvel Studios was not trying to copy there arch rival. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Don’t compare upcoming films to Endgame, you’ll be sorely disappointed. Endgame took 10 years to build towards and cost multiple millions, if not billions of Dollars.
Rumour has it that Chris Evans will be playing two characters in the movie, but neither will be the Steve Rogers that we know. One will be his version of the Human Torch from Tim Story's Fantastic Four movies while the other will be a Steve Rogers who is loyal to HYDRA, in reference to that controversial storyline from the comics a few years ago. So if true, we will already be getting a character from a live action Marvel adaptation that isn't part of the MCU.
Furthermore, there's no rule against mentioning DC by name here. Plenty of us are fans of both Marvel and DC and I myself have done a lot of work on both the DCEU and Arrowverse Fandoms.

Miguel how about the fact it will look a little too similar to a certain event done by a certain company part of a certain universe of shows on the CW and copying that is well stupid. Plus almost all non MCU movies suck with the exception of two of the Blade movies, the Fox X-Men mostly, and Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, there is also TASM 1 but obviously the second one was the worst so. Also I don't care about the non MCU stuff anymore so seeing it would be pointless to me.
Plus do you know how many people Marvel Studios would have to pay or did you not consider that.
All non MCU movies suck (with the exception of a few)? That's a very sad thing to hear. And honestly that opinion is very self-centered, because the majority of people is not in agreement with that (myself included strongly). If you don't care that's fine, but your will isn't greater than those of other people. If people want other non-MCU Marvel movies to crossover and if its under the studio's interest, then all good. I don't find it necessarily relevant and in a logical standpoint I don't condone very much with franchise crossovers in the MCU at this stage. But I can't speak for everyone, just as much as you can't. Good for you that you have an opinion, but if Marvel Studios decides to continue with the idea of crossovering, its only bad if most people don't find it amusing, but from my understanding a lot of people (albeit many cautiously) accept the boldness of crossovering with other franchises.
The amount of people Marvel Studios has to pay will surely be immense... but remember Marvel Studios has mountains of money on them, so I doubt that will ever be a problem if they ever want to bring back actors from other franchises.
Yeah but there is still a budget also yeah I basically Marvel Studios saved Marvel movies in a sense at least post 2007.
