mutant powers locked by the Mind Stone? might be possible. it being probable would depend on where the Mind Stone was at the time.

edit:: not sure about the blimp. all 6 stones were used at that moment; also to bring those victims back. and again to wipe away Thanos and his allies.

also, I take most of the Stones could be used for multiple purposes.

Well that's actually interesting, the mechanic of dormant powers in the mutants that started being unlocked with exposure to the mind stone. Kinda reminds me of that eternals storyline in the comics where sprite made them forget who they were and therefore lose their powers until they started getting unlocked again.

Since I doubt that's gonna happen in the eternals movie I'd like if the mutants had that. Would he much better than a crappy origin story where the x gene developed in the modern days cuz that would just change what the mutants really are to humans. With that locked powers theory they could still be a different species that descended from the neanderthals rather than being a moderb day modified homo sapiens
