The thing is, aren’t Doom and Reed contemporaries? Meaning they need to be the same age? Give or take a year or two.

We’ll have to wait to see the Fantastic Four casting rumours. That’ll give us a better idea at who’s playing Reed, and hopefully an idea at who would play opposite him as Doom.

They made Hank Pym much older than how he is in the comics, so Reed and Doom could be different ages in the MCU.

@SeanWheeler I don’t know about Hank Pym. Specifically Doom and Reed are the exact same age, isn’t part of their back story that they went to the same schools and colleges or something like that?

I just don’t see the MCU having an older Doom (40+) while they have a younger Fantastic Four (under 40). Like if Doom was 45 and Reed was 23 it’d feel slightly weird.

The MCU had a lot of creative liberty with it's characters and changed a lot of them.

Cavill’s the OBVIOUS choice for Paste-Pot Pete. It’s plain and simple. No other character is more important in Marvel History and they need an A-Grade actor to portray him.
