But it's still more like the alternate universes from What If. If the TVA was protecting time, they should be arresting time travelers, not harrassing people across the multiverse for doing something different from what their Earth-199999 doppelgangers did.

Yeah, alternate timelines are alternate realities. But when there's no time traveling involved, what are the crimes against the Sacred Timeline anyway? What happens in some alternate Earth should be irrelevant to the Sacred Timeline. What was explained in Endgame shows that the MCU doesn't do Back to the Future logic where altering the past threatens your existence. The TVA just transports Variants to an alternate dimension beyond time to feed Alioth. For what? Doing something different from what the TVA wants them to do? The Variants don't know what they should do in the Sacred Timeline. The fact that the TVA let the Avengers off scotfree makes it even more aggravating. If Loki wasn't supposed to escape, then the Avengers weren't supposed to get the Tesseract and more Pym Particles from Camp Lehigh. Loki's nexus event should make the Avengers variants. Especially since Loki's escape was Tony's fault. Tony forgot that the Hulk was coming, so the Hulk knocked the Tesseract from Tony to Loki.

I had one huge problem with the episode that kept me from loving it... we didn't get enough Classic Loki. ):

It’s not just time travel, it has to do with the MWI Theory of the Multiverse. Every time a choice or event happens, there are possibly millions of alternate probabilities that could’ve happened instead. These other possibilities split off of the main timeline and become their own world. But the TVA won’t allow these alternate timelines to grow (not just because of time travel, but they won’t let these Timelines grow naturally in general.)

Because of their dogma, The TVA snip off any natural or unnatural deviations of the timeline by teleporting it to the end of time, along with any variants that somehow cause these events to happen (or more accurately, who are the alternate outcome of a choice or event!)

What gives them the right to snip off those deviations from the timeline? They are isolated from the Sacred Timeline. Even if there's a timeline where Germany won World War II, the TVA has no business there. Especially since they allowed Thanos to snap off half of the universe, and apocalyptic events slip under their radar. Their Sacred Timeline isn't even perfect because all the bad stuff from real world history still happened.

Loved just the Lokis chilling in the bunker. Fun stuff. I was all in with Alligator Loki. Had the feels when Loki hugs Mobius. Richard E. Grant killed it. Kid Loki being the leader because he offed his Thor.

I don't trust Ravonna at all. Who's to say she just wants to kill the creator and usurp power to keep the TVA going, still believing in its purpose. Guess we'll see Mobius and B-15 mount some sort of rebellion next week.

I just loved the Frog Thor and Thanos Copter cameos. I think I saw a Yellowjacket helmet, too. But also about 30 seconds into the episode the Avengers Tower has Qeng Enterprises on it, which is another nod to Kang (basically, in the comics, Tony sells the Avengers Tower to Qeng Enterprises but it is later revealed that Qeng is a front for Kang). Then Alioth has links to Ravonna and Kang in the comics, too. And the castle that's revealed at the end may as well be Chronopolis though there was a fitting Emerald City feel to it as well. As a Ghostbusters fan, loved the Hi-C Ecto Cooler shout out.

Man, it feels just too good to be true for the big bad to be Kang. This is like Mephisto all over again, lol. Or what are the chances it's another Loki variant? But what would a Loki gain from creating the TVA...I feel like Miss Minutes was the creator of the TVA's way of keeping an eye on the TVA without the TVA knowing about it. They just think she's an A.I. but it's really the equivalent of the creator doing a video chat on his/her cell phone with a cartoon and voice filter on. She was definitely more than A.I. like she consciously chose to stall looking for files so Minuteman would find Ravonna and Sylvie in the courtroom.

Wow. Just wow. Ravonna betraying Sylvie was fairly upsetting. There were about 4 betrays this episode. 3 in a row. Overall I liked the episode. I was laughing so hard when kid Loki was drinking a juice box. Mobius returning was awesome. His goodbye to Loki was emotional. I’d rate this episode a 9/10.
