This is honestly why I'm only going to watch select movies and shows, rather than everything. Because I can already tell that the story Disney is going to tell is going to be as disjointed as the Disney Star Wars Trilogy was. I mean, we've already had a show that came up with a conflict just for the sake of having one (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) and we're going to get movies and shows that just don't respect The Infinity Saga whatsoever. Thor: Love and Thunder and Ironheart being two of the biggest examples.

And about "dead characters being brought back to life", they've been doing that for some time already (Coulson, Loki, Vision, Gamora).

How is Love and Thunder & Ironheart disrespectful to the Infinity Saga?

I do think this phase is a transition to what’s to come. It’s not meaningless, but leading to different conflicts that might have multiple effects on the future.

As for the dead characters coming back, don’t worry too much about it. I think Tony and Natasha will stay dead. More characters will die or “retire” too as they years go on. Infinity Saga will have its place in the MCU and has become a strong foundation for the franchise. Not it’s time for it to branch off into different directions like a tree.

It would be nice if some characters comes to ant man and other avengers about a threat and they can bring back the dead so the character goes back in time and kills thanks and then the sacred timeline doesn't break so easily the character brings back the dead .

My investment in the MCU’s future depends entirely on how they treat the Marvel TV characters and those storylines and the rebooted X-Men. And pretty much everyone from Infinity War who was physically killed is back in some kind of capacity except Heimdall. But I think Tony and Natasha will stay dead and not have any alternate timeline cop outs.

Phase 4 feels to me like a soft reboot of the franchise, it is not saying that the infinity saga is no longer cannon but the heroes and villains audiences will be following will be completely different. The three-part film of Avengers: Infinity War, Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home gave us the conclusion of the story we had been following for 11 years and gave fans who wanted to get out a perfect point to stop whereas as Phase 4 is a jump on point for new fans who will become invested in different characters such as Sam Wilson as Captain America, Jane Foster as Thor and Riri Williams as Ironheart
