Another great episode. Can't wait to see more of Lady Loki.

This episode was great! A while back, I saw set photos of Sophia Di Martino as Lady Loki and figured she would be the villain, so that wasn't a big surprise to me. I loved Loki and Mobius's partnership. It's probably one of my favorite MCU partnerships, honestly. Miss Minutes was awesome, the cliffhanger ending was awesome, seeing the future in the MCU was awesome, seeing Roxxcart (which I count as a partial Marvel TV reference, even though Roxxon was also in the movies it played a bigger role in MCU tv.) was awesome, and the lunch scene was hilarious! Overall, a 10/10 for me!

I've been speculating that the so called 'Lady Loki' is actually Sylvie since March 2020 lol so i feel really freaking validated right now.

For once, I'm speechless.

I think I need some time to process all of this before I talk about it. Honestly, I prefer just to watch shows and not speculate, but in case anyone's a particular fan of mine (joking) here are my thoughts in brief.

1. Loki was, as usual, amazing and his general lines and behaviour made me just... so happy. Just little things, like him drying his clothes after being in the rain, and falling asleep on the desk, and him generally being funny and sweet. And I love seeing him talk to Miss Minutes! He's so cheerful, and it's really what I needed after a hard week of feeling like a whale. 😣😒

And the salad. I never knew I needed to see something so much as when I saw Loki spend about three whole minutes shaking salt very viciously onto a salad that didn't belong to him. And of course to top it off, he takes Casey's drink and adds it to the mixture. I've... totally never done something like that in a restaurant before... 😬🤫

2. Okay, so I'm dumb, but time confused me no end. If someone could please explain to me just time in general that would be great. 😄 I just don't get the whole future thing. How can they travel to the future if it hasn't happened yet? And if it has happened, does this not render the whole of the MCU up until now totally redundant? I don't know if I'm making any sense, but what I guess I'm trying to say is if there is no present reality, there is no benchmark for time in general- the avengers films are are superfluous because they weren't even happening in "the present" whilst they were happening. The snap is totally inconsequential!!! What is reality??? 😕😖 Okay sorry now I'm just being annoying. 😁 I'm not disputing what happens in Loki at all in regards to time, I'm just confused by it.

3. This villain character... Also confusing. Definitely not Loki in terms of the character we know. So I guess... Not really Loki at all? Ah, I don't know! And I really wanted to punch her in the face (sorry Sophia DiMartino, it's not you, it's her). 😅 Don't know why. I'm not even gonna bother speculating. I just want to wait and see what happens with her- I never have any interesting theories to add anyway, and probably lack the imagination and knowledge to think of any.

So yeah. Generally, I loved the dynamic and the characters and everything. The vibe was... creepier... than the last one. I loved it! The score was great too. It was just as good as the last episode, just different (and way more confusing because my tiny brain can only handle simple things). Mobius and Loki were great too. I'm genuinely confused about the future, so if someone wants to explain that to me, feel free. :)

I am still firmly convinced that Loki's double bluffing. He doesn't want to overthrow the Timekeepers- that's far too predictable. And besides, we've already seen trailer footage that shows more missions with the TVA, so yeah... I have faith in Loki! (My Loki, just to be clear. Not... whoever that lady was. 😂 Lady Loki indeed. There goes my title.)

As someone above me said (which I think is wise) I'm going to unfollow this post (as I tend to) after I've made this initial addition, as I don't want to argue with people. Guess I just wanted to vent in case anyone really wanted to hear me rant about his I "don't get time" and how much I, conversely, love it when Loki speaks.

@Greater good Yes, yes we can. I heard the speculation that it was going to be used and even though I believed it, I didn't know where it would fit. They actually made it work really and insanely well! :)

@The Loki Lady To address your confusion with the time travel:

The way I see it now is that the time-keepers didn't actually destroy the entire multiverse and create one Sacred Timeline, but instead picked a Sacred Timeline and began to alter all new universes to match that of the Sacred Timeline. This is why they can travel to a universe currently in 2050 while the MCU as we know it is still in 2024. All of these universes are still in accordance with the Sacred Timeline even though slight difference occur, such as one of them having Loki and Mobius in Pompeii, or Captain America fighting himself in 2012 although this wouldn't have happened in the MCU, as they would have at least remembered this incident as it was happening. Therefore I believe that the TVA is just making sure that all universes stay (mostly) in accordance with the Sacred Timeline, and Nexus events are just what happens when something starts happening in a universe that alter it away from the Sacred Timeline. You can almost think of it more as traveling throughout the multiverse to universes that were created earlier or later then others.

I think this works really well right now because this is how time travel worked in Endgame, and Mobius explains that they don't know what happens at the end of time, but when that does happen their job will be done. I think he means that the end of time will be when every universe in the multiverse ultimately reaches the end of the Sacred Timeline, because then the TVA's job will be accomplished and the Sacred Timeline will be established and unalterable throughout the multiverse.

Of course new info might discredit this, as Lady Loki might suggest that their is a multiverse that the TVA doesn't know about or the Time-Keepers might be hiding something from us.

@The Loki Lady So I believe that they were able to travel to the future because a timeline is not just the present and the past. The future will always happen so thats why.

My theory is that either

1. The time keepers are lying and they just got ant control over the universe because after reading the Marvel Book (highly recommend) i dont think that the mcu will treat the multiverse as not connected to the actual multiverse. To support this i have the mystery of the time keepers. I also want to point out how spiderverse in Spider man 3 is practically confirmed and wouldnt the TVA reset the Tobey and Andrew universes at least. And what about what the ancient one said in doctor strange: “ Who are you in this vast multiverse?” It just doesn’t check out.

2. This is a masquerade by Ravonna who in the comics was in a relationship with Kang. For those who dont know who Kang is he is basically a time traveling villain who wants control over the entire multiverse. He is confirmed to be played by Jonathan Majors in Quantamanium(prob spelled that wrong). Plus that middle Time Keeper we keep on focusing on looks a lot like Jonathan Majors (not my find many people have said this).

Whatever happens very happy with this series so far. It really is “Burdened with glorious purpose.”
