I don't even know where the "Tony snapped Gamora" theory came from

@AntIsBack It clearly came from the fact that Gamora was nowhere to be seen after Thanos was defeated, and the Guardians of the Galaxy was looking for her at the end.

Yeah she was. She appeared after Iron Man’s death.

Only on the Milano's computer screen to show that the Guardians are searching the galaxy for her. She didn't even attend Tony's funeral. There may have been a deleted scene revealing she survived the snap, but that scene didn't make it to the movie so from the movie theater audience's perspective in 2018, she could have been snapped away with Thanos's army. I've seen Endgame in theaters twice, so I know.

@LR2159 And the movie going audience didn't see it. Because you know, it was deleted. It's probably on a DVD, but not everyone has the DVD or watched the scene in question on YouTube. And the fact that they had to wait a few months until the DVD's released after seeing it in theaters is another factor.

What post-credit scene? Endgame notably didn't have any scene after the credits. That was the one Marvel movie where we could actually leave during the credits. I sat through the credits.

Whether or not there was a deleted scene, it doesn't matter when AntIsBack asked the question of where the "Tony snapped Gamora" theory came from. Us now knowing Gamora survived the snap does not erase those theorists who came up with the idea while the movie was still in theaters. The fact is there were people including me who worried that Tony might have snapped Gamora. If there's a deleted scene proving Gamora is still around, that's great. I feel better about Gamora but you can't change past thoughts.
