I think Fury will die in Secret Invasion. His journey in the MCU was very long and as Tony, Steve and Natasha he may die. It would make sense for the future, now that we are being introduced to characters that will replace other ones from the past, like Sam replacing Steve as Captain America, Kate Bishop, Ironheart, She-Hulk, Yelena and Jane Foster. During the Secret Invasion series we could be introduced to Abigail Brand who would replace Nick Fury in the MCU as SOWRD’s director.
