It could be from the origin of vibranium and is magic
I think it's still something from another planet but not necessarily vibranium.
It would make sense that the Mandarin was able to get his hands on Vibranium through his resources.
I find the idea of vibranium amusing. Or at least, that the Ten Rings has wakandan origin, in regards to technology. That would be one good point of connection, which is honestly something that this movie feels its lacking.
Hm, I suppose it would stand to reason there was more than one Vibranium meteorite that landed 2.5 million years ago and it wasn't just Africa but other continents like China.
But the thing is the Ten Rings seems to not be vibranium tech because it has elemental manipulation, well at least water. Whereas, the main thing with vibranium is kinetic energy.
I agree with @Marvelous they are probably just magic.
@Mrmichaelt Yeah, or maybe some fragments of the main meteorite that broke off and landed in different locations.
The Ten Rings could still be derived from alien tech or some kind of cosmic civilization... maybe something connected with the Eternals?
Apparently they aren’t vibranium
Theyre most likely connected to the upcoming eternals movie. if the ten rings originate from the celestials, then this may very well be one of the most ancient weapons in the MCU, far older than any weapon to date, since the celestials existed before our universe.
What do you think?
