Iron Man 2, Thor & Incredible Hulk all take place at the same time. Iron Man 2 starts, then Coulson leaves for Thor to begin it's Earth segment, then right at the end while Stark is being brought into the Avengers Initiative Hulk is attacked at the university campus.
The first image is best, though as others have noted you will have mild spoilers for Infinity War this way, as Captain Marvel & Ant-Man & the Wasp credits scenes are post Infinity War.
As for the post Endgame stuff, WandaVision is a few weeks later, Falcon & Winter Soldier is six months later, & Far From Home is eight months later, so that's the order they need to be placed.
I like it that the mid-credit scenes of Captain Marvel and Ant-Man 2 are post Infinity War. That way it’s like a premonition of things to come without spoiling anything.
@Francesco Di Maria for me, & for everyone, because that is indeed the correct timeline
Bro they both basically the same, besides the order of hulk and Thor. The Incredible Hulk, Thor, and Iron Man 2 all go in in the same week and is known as fury bug week, but the order u watch them make doesn't really matter. But the best way is to watch Incredible Hulk, Iron man 2 than thor
Why is that the best way? It's explicitly listed IN Fury's Big Week that Iron Man 2 is finished by the time the University scene happens in Hulk, & even just going by the films they mention Thor halfway through Iron Man 2, when Coulson leaves for New Mexico, & they show Incredible Hulk happening during the debriefing scene at the end, so even just using the film as a basis the order should be Iron Man 2 with the after credits scene of Thors hammer, Thor, & then Incredible Hulk with the after credits scene showing Stark now working on the Avengers Initiative. To play them your way is fine, obviously, but it's definitely not as satisfying
I personally prefer the order: Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, and then Thor.
They all take place during Fury's big week, but Thor doesn't start until after(or towards the end) of Iron Man 2, while on the news we see that The Incredible Hulk is already half way done before Iron Man 2 is over. Along with this the Thor end credits scene is the best lead in into the Avengers.
@Jt3enigma I can understand that order. I respect anyone's decision to watch these however you like, but I do want to just point out that Thor definitely happens before Incredible Hulk. Mjolnir lands on Earth when Stark meets with Fury, or possibly just before that, because during Starks' house arrest Coulson is preparing to leave to investigate it. He then leaves, reaches New Mexico & sets up containment. The rest of Thor takes only a couple of days. Meanwhile Banner is attacked at the University during the end of Iron Man 2, which is why it's on the news during the final meeting. This is all in the timeline on this wiki as well & it's worth a read if you're interested in this kinda stuff.
As for the after credits stuff, Age of Ultrons after credits scene HAS to take place just before Infinity War due to the creation of the gauntlet, so the after credits scenes don't always pay off immediately. Sometimes I think it's kinda cool when they come into play a lot later, but that's my opinion.
Like I said I respect anyone's decisions on how to enjoy their movies, but I just wanted to explain the timings a bit more.
What do you think?
